    I say to invest in some ammo and spend your time shooting it vs internet dreaming. Your 308 should be able to get you out to 1k yards with a 175gr bullet, you have a bunch more meat on that 308 bone you could enjoy before getting a second entree? Just a point to ponder.

    If you want the best load that shoots at distance, shoot it at distance and actually see. I dont trust pure numbers because too often I have found that the best group in the real world results don’t have the best chrono numbers.

    It’s going to take awhile but it should give you a good baseline. Might be worth retesting a handful of each after awhile once the barrel has burnished in and speeds up.

    223ai- zermatt makes a special pushfeed bolt head specifically for that round. The mdt poly mags don’t feed worth a shit with my factory rem700 in a keg bravo. They are turds compared to basically every other 223 mag. Much less in any of the other 223s I’ve tried them in, it should at least...

    I just use the cheapest (aka lightest) plastic case that will fit. I try to not carry my heavy cut foam pelican style whenever I can avoid it. If you are flying that’s the way to go though.

    Its because they keep the round forced too flat and dont let it tip up. I have yet to find a place where they work well, they best I have been able to do is only the occasional mid mag hiccup but thats only in a krg bravo... and the last one and two are hitchy and require a stop and resume...

    Burris xtr3 3.3-18 scr2 mil us made non illuminated, it’s a reconditioned. I drilled a hole in the objective cap to serve as an aperture for indoor dry fire. It has the alternate capped windage turret as well. 750 shipped
