You might wanna look into these if your not going full custom (Criterion Barrels) they make a tikka t3 pre fit barrel they use a barrel nut like a Savage then ya just need a headspace gauge to install. If I remember right the long action mag is 3.34 with a width of .55 you need .555 for the wsm so that's were the Dremel comes. Honestly I think it was just designed for factory ammo lengths hence the short oal. You can fit 4 rounds of wsm in the 5 round 300 win mag magazine after hogging it out...
