    Hang a plumb line on your wall and shine a flashlight backwards through the scope, this will project the reticle on the wall and you can line it up with the plumb line (you may need to adjust the diopter and magnification to see the reticle). When the reticle is lined up set your bubble level.

    Out of curiosity have you tried cleaning the numbers with something like a push pin? The numbers on the turret are laser engraved and because of that are recessed into the turret, you may just have a buildup of dirt in the numbers making them hard to read.

    They are different sizes, one is a 2 mm for the throw lever while the other is a 2.5 mm for the turrets. They are labeled at the base of the teardrop so you can reference that if you need to know which one you have.

    That is a pretty presumptive response considering you don't know what the optics look like in the new Vortex. If it has as good of optical quality at $3000 vs the ZCO or Tangent I think that would be a pretty good deal.

    To test that theory, simply get comfortable on the rifle and find out what direction you need to move your head to see a full sight picture. This will save you from having to go out and buy different rings/mount to test that theory.
