Something can't be right here. I have a 26" 1:8 running 140 eld-m reloads @ 2818 fps. My dope for 640m/700yds is 4.4 mils. For your numbers, my loads would have to be dragging ass at only 2337.5 fps mv. Very slow would be an understatement at those speeds...

Unless things have changed in the last couple years, the CTR and Binderless AICS mags allow for similar COAL. I can get 2.96" with MDT binderless AICS mags, which also work in my other non-tikka chassis rifles.

To put it bluntly, we get fucked in Canada as far as optic prices go. For example, in the US, Razor gen II prices almost make it a no brainer in a reasonable budget range. Up here in Canada, we pay $3599.00 CAD, or the equivalent of ~$2675 USD with the current exchange rates, and good luck...

A few posts up (#430), they mention it being ~4.5oz heavier. Not too bad in the grand scheme of things unless you're chasing every ounce.

My Nucleus 1.1 had a hard to turn bolt stop. I removed it, polished it and cleanedup the edges around the divot for the ball bearing. Made it feel a lot better.
