Hunting & Fishing Y’all talk me out of a 22-250

Great cartridge. Having said that, I would go with 22 Creedmoor.

Hunting & Fishing Point-blank range caliber for deer?

If you don't reload, I feel the obvious choice is a 6.5CM, the factory ammo will shoot great. Or the trusty .308.

Hunting & Fishing Kuiu, Kryptek, Sitka?

Depending on where you live, you may have an outdoor store close to you that may carry first lite. If so, they might have the base layers in stock. I use the EXP weight in Northern MI and wouldn't want anything lighter when the temps drop.

    300 PRC

Hornady will actually support it with off the shelf ammo that regular folks can afford.

Hunting & Fishing Kuiu, Kryptek, Sitka?

Don't over look Kuiu's vase layers.

Hunting & Fishing Light weight elk rifle

If your wife already has a 6.5CM I wouldn't buy another rifle chambered in 6.5PRC, it's just too similar and it won't kill an elk any faster. Try looking at the 7-08 or .308, they are both great cartridges that will get the job done out to very reasonable ranges. If that's still not enough...

Bergara HMR Pro or Tikka CTR in a chassis?

Lying about what? My experiences? Sorry, I don't feel the need to come on an internet forum and lie about which factory rifle has the smoothest action. You must have felt something different than I did, because I would never say a Bergara action was "smooth as glass", that's just false...

Perfect Long Range Multi Purpose Rig

If you're just going to be shooting steel, why not have another 6.5CM built? At the ranges you've listed for hunting, it would be more than capable. Not saying the 7RM is bad, but a 6.5CM will be much more enjoyable to shoot longer strings with.

Help me make a decision on KRG SOTIC versus Accuracy International AT

Just get the AXMC, you will be much happier in the long run. AT's are nothing to snub either, but if you have AX money, I wouldn't have to think very hard about which one I would be purchasing.

Bergara HMR Pro or Tikka CTR in a chassis?

I've played with quite a few Bergara's, I wouldn't call their action even remotely smooth, whether it was the b14 or hmr pro, they all seemed gritty and bound up easily. I've never come across a Tikka that would do that, from the T3 to the CTR, they have all run flawlessly. I have an older T3 in...

Hunting & Fishing Kuiu, Kryptek, Sitka?

I believe that it would, if you choose the right layers.

Hunting & Fishing Kuiu, Kryptek, Sitka?

Kuiu is great, very durable so far. I wouldn't rule out first lite, they make a great whitetail system that would fit your style.

Hunting & Fishing Kuiu, Kryptek, Sitka?

I use a mixture of First Lite and Kuiu. I really like First Lite's heavy merino base layers, they work great in Northern MI. I haven't tried too much of their outerwear as it seems to vary in size between pieces, much more so than Kuiu. If First Lite could fix that issue, I would likely use more...

Hunting & Fishing What A Waste

How can you not clearly see that the deer is caught? Are you kidding me? Like someone's gonna take the time to put a eaten deer carcass into a fence, just for a photo. That is some straight stupidity. You can clearly see the tines hooked the fence and it buckled under the weight. With how deep...

    280AI in AICS magazinze?

Wondering if anyone can expound on this topic? I have a spare manners SL stock, in LA with a mini chassis dbm. Wanted to build a new .280ai for hunting on it but have heard it can have feeding issues.
