Form 1 efile approved Brace Feb 5th file

Please explain. Are you saying anyone that files with ATF is weak? So anyone that has bought a suppressor legally or SBR'ed a pistol before this rule? Only difference now is that the tax stamp fee is waived. What am I missing?

    Pistol Brace Final Ruling

Gonna catch some shit for this but longterm I think this is good. SCOTUS right now is as 2A friendly as it will probably ever be. There is going to be a crap load of lawsuits filed. Given SCOTUS recent decisions on NYSRPA v Bruen, West Virginia v EPA and recent bump stock decisions there is...

Annealer. Best bang for the buck

Lou Murdica and Erik Cortina on annealing. Both say anneal every time or not at all. If you’re not using an AMP annealer, you’re better off not to anneal

Thanks for confirming. The drop tables for the custom curve and the .373 appear to be the same. I will manually enter the BC.

153 A-tips BC in Kestrel correct?

Working up a load for my 6.5 PRC with the 153 A-tips. When I pull the 153s up in the Kestril App bullet library it is saying G7 BC of .373 which seems crazy high. Hornady says .355, I shot them out to 1000 and .351 seem to line up for my gun. Curious what others are seeing for real world BC...

Vortex Razor HD Gen III 6-36x56

I measure 0.096" The square o-ring in this pic is 0.066" and keeps it from locking

Vortex Razor HD Gen III 6-36x56

Aside from the "sliding turrents" I am REALLY liking the Gen III. I am confident Vortex will offer a solution and in the meantime the o-ring works fine. Never liked the idea of locking elevation turrets in general so will be putting o-rings on my ZCO and my Gen IIs to make them non locking...

Vortex Razor HD Gen III 6-36x56

Have a ZCO as well as Gen II Razors and the new Gen III Razor. ZCO does not have the same issue as the Gen III. The ZCO turrets are similar to the Gen II turrets in the sense that when the turret is pulled up and unlocked it stays up while dialing and it is does not "slide down" as per video...

Vortex Razor HD Gen III 6-36x56

O-ring hack seems to work well and you wouldn't noticed it unless you looked hard for it. Tried square o-ring as well as normal o-ring and both worked well. Square o-ring less likely to get pushed out I think so left it in. Used AS568-028 SN70 (NBR) Buna-N 70 Duro Square O-Ring (SN70028)...

Not pretty but a 2mm zip tie will work until Vortex or someone comes up with more elegant solution

NEW From Zermatt Arms - RimX Actions

Understand we are not competing for prizes. I do not question the targets and appreciate the info you have posted. But will have to agree to disagree about your calculations. Ontarget assumes .223 holes are .233 in diameter and that is why it subtracts .223" from edge to edge to get center to...
