Watch Out for Scammers!
We've now added a color code for all accounts. Orange accounts are new members, Blue are full members, and Green are Supporters. If you get a message about a sale from an orange account, make sure you pay attention before sending any money!
Np, I'm a bullpup fan, so I am slightly biased. I've thought about the newer OSS cans as well but.... their weight and their problems have prevented me going that direction. Amtac is another flow-through suppressor design option but I know even less about them. I doubt it would eliminate it but...
I've got one of the earlier models before the engineering revisions. I have the new 6 port gas plug but based on their new product announcement video, there is a revised plug that is supposed to be better for preventing short stroking. I've ran around 900 rounds through mine so far and it's...
I'm assuming you are dropping the barrel in the chassis and then closing the bolt on it to set headspace before locking the barrel and tightening the clamp screws, otherwise you could potentially see some wear on the forward portion of the bolt lugs I'd guess. This could also potentially...
Hah! I know that this statement has a harsh truth to it. I'm still looking for it but when vacuum day comes, it will be lost forever... Thanks, CBM. You are the main reason I decided to follow through with the MDR order and I'm glad I did. I really enjoy your youtube vids and look forward to more.
My gas plug was a tight fit on the insertion so I tapped it in with a brass hammer. It is difficult to turn with just my fingers but it turns just fine with a screwdriver (there is a slot in the middle now) or the tip of a bullet. Unfortunately, I lost my detent from the original plug during...
So far, I feel that I've been lucky with mine. It is not ripping rim cases on any setting except for the first mag I had five. I've ran it on suppressed with a suppressor and it still doesn't rip rims. I did have one real hard to clear jam when I shot a round suppressed while on normal. I had to...
Mine shipped today and is supposed to be here on wednesday. I'll install it and test it out Thursday morning most likely. I'll let you know how mine fits.
I believe that is the recommended method, to use red loctite on the adapter. I'm under the same impression as well. I've got a .30 ultra 9 and a 338 ultra on the way and it would be nice if I could swap these back and forth without the loctite and not worry about it loosening up on me or having...
+1 for the SAKO rifles. I have an A5 stainless 300WM that will kill clay pigeons at 600 all day long if I'm not pulling my shots. Been using it for the last 6 years.
Millennial here in WA. Went elk hunting last year during muzzleloader season, had an "echo" to my steps early one morning heading into the stand. Made me on edge that day. Next morning found a cougar staring at me from the bottom of my stand after it spooked a couple spikes that ran into the...
FYI I saw on the FB group that DT has a 6 position gas plug that is available if you call. Limited supply. 1 gas plug at discount if you are a current owner. It seemed legit and free of trolls but attempt at your own risk! The youtube video got pulled so I'm wondering if it got released too...
I did the same thing selling all of my bolts, save my one sako for hunting that is slightly lighter weight. I really enjoy my DT SRS and it's all I take when I go shooting, usually. My HK MR556, DSA SA58 and Armalite SASS are going up on the chopping block if I can get my MDR running reliably.
Mine just shipped yesterday. I've got 500 rounds ready to feed it once it gets in next week. I'm still having faith it will eventually be a reliable rifle, even if it takes some DT customer service and some TLC to get it there.
