Rifle Competition Events Any 2023 events in Nebraska or Iowa?
March 25 will be a Lost Boys/PRS Regional Match near Diagonal, IA and May 29 will be a Lost Boys/PRS Regional Match at High Lakes Outdoor Alliance, near Afton, IA. Neither match are on the PRS website yet, I need to work on that. I help out with the MDing of them. Both are only about 2 hours...- brentharlan

WTB chassis for Howa 1500 SA
On Saturday Brownells had a MPA chassis in their store, on the discount rack for $600 dollars. I have a Howa 1500 in a Bell and Carlson, for a backup gun. I thought hard about it just for the deal, but I prefer traditional stocks. Call them and see if they still have it.- brentharlan

Howa Detachable Mag Options?
I used the Ammoboost kit for a year at matches, so probably had 500 rounds though it. Never had a feeding issue. But, I also over torqued the front action screw and cracked the floorplate. It didn't cause any issue as it fit tight in my stock's inlet. If any one is interested I would ship...- brentharlan

Howa Detachable Mag Options?
I am using the PTG metal with my Bell and Carlson stock. I had to shim the front of the bottom metal with a washer to align the feed lips a little better. Magpul mags seem to feed the smoothest in my setup, but AICS mags also work. One caviot is that you have to modify a tab in the back of...- brentharlan
