Is the leveling base any better? If I remember correctly the 75 leveling base of the 90 was either locked or loose ?

Did anyone change the speing inside the bolt assembly? I thougt about making cocking the bolt easier? I know it will weaken the force of the firing pin, but I think there is room for improvement?

That makes it a lot clearer. Thanks a lot for you post and pictures! So for me the difference is the cam for the bolt body. Thank you!

you can lock clockwise and counterclockwise with you bolt, you can try it disassembled. The lugs are also symmetric. I don't know where the difference is :-( I think noone has a left and right extension for comparison?

Hey maybe someone knows this... I'm looking for a new barrel (my rifle is LH) and was looking at the barrel extension. I cannot find any reason why there should be a difference between the left hand and right hand barrel extensions. Maybe you can tell me? Bolt head is different obviously....

@ Baer45 I had the exact same "issue" with my .308 16" Covert (A1) when it was brand new. It stopped doing that after about 100-150 rounds i think.

Hey guys, I've got a covert with the 16" .308 barrel. I want to use it for hunting and have to go lead free. I tried to use cutting edge maximus 150grain, copper rapto 135grain but don't get it to shoot real nice. I use H4895 (different loads), Lapu brass and CCI BR2. Anyone using CEB bullets...

Hey guys, i have my LH covert now for a while but sadly havent shot a lot. Maybe about 150 rounds. There are two things i noticed, the bolt spring seems to be pretty strong. When i cock the bolt i need a good amount of force (with or without a round). Will the spring get weaker or could i...

I thought it would be too fast. Quickload is telling me about 2600 fps and i never been that far off from quickload. If its realistic i'd be happy :-) i could not test it yet on distance, then i will know for sure.

Anyone has a Magnetospeed Sporter used with the short barrel 308 Covert? I tested it out and mounted the sporter without any spacers to the handguard, sensivity set to Hi 1 and got some readings that are hard to believe. Loaded up some 150grain cutting edge Maximus, 44,8 grains H4895, CCI Br2...
