CMP to offer a MK13 mod 3 on auction

Interesting rifle, I agree with others here, looks like it hasn't been used since being built and appears to have a fresh spray paint job. Serial is correct range for a mod 3. The case looks new with the plastic protective film still on it, interesting how someone cut out the foam for the...

    Army M24 Build Thread

I don't believe these HS gen 1 DM bottom metals were from m24A2 rifles just the same ones used, these were surplus from Crane but from, or for what I don't know. I actually have been trying to figure it out. They have the common crane armorer's type of serial# engraving. If anyone knows what...

    Mk 13 Mod 0 stock

I have been trying to find out definitively what actions the early crane long action rifles used, I believe these bases came from m86 long action rifles, which I believe used mcmillan 700 type receivers ??

The alternative would be the HS precision gen 1 bottom metal metal for the M24A2 this was what they were originally built with before Remington later upgraded with the badger set up. I have a couple extra

    Army M24 Build Thread

The rail pic is a bit of a teaser, I wish they were all m24 mounts, only the front one is a m24 mount, the rest are identical to the m24 rail except the rear mounting pad that attaches to the receiver bridge is made for a full round receiver, I believe that these are Leupold/Brookfield rails...

    Mk 13 Mod 0 stock

Top mk13 stock has (gray gel coat painted tan) and gray mk13 stock have a very soft foam like covering on them. The tan gel coat mk13 has the traditional harder neoprene type rubber, and here is a early gray SSR with gray rubber covering.

    Mk 13 Mod 0 stock

Here is a pics of the correct thumb screws for the mk13, SSR and early DMR. As far as I know mcmillan has not had any more of the correct screws in a long time. I have quite a few extra surplus ones that I would be willing to sell.
