Do you think the Walkers provide enough amplification to detect sound direction. I love to hunt with my Howard Leights but like you they give me a headache. I tried the grizzly ears and they were horrible for amplification. They did ok and would be great for matches but not for hunting.
I'D like to see something in the 3x18 range for a hunting optic. I thought really hard about the 1x10 but not sure it will pull enough light in the 30 min windows before and after sunset.
I hunt in central MS with a fairly high hog population and run a 5X25 ffp scope, I turn my reticle on when I get set up an do not turn it off till I get back to my buggy. At 35 to 50 yds pigs are unmistakable and have pulled the trigger on a many a pig before and after legal shooting...
@koshkin Nothing new in the Vortex gen 3 line other than the 1x10? I kind of figured the rest of the lineup would release at shot. Also anythig new on the Leupold lineup?
