    Savage 110 elite precision

I have a SS action with a long bolt knob that's pretty smooth for a savage. I think I just got lucky. SS does help a bit though.

    Savage 110 elite precision

Yes, sss kit is all there is out there. I have them on all of mine and they work pretty well. They really could use a total update on their actions including a redesigned extractor.

    Savage Rifles and Aftermarket Stocks/DBM

I just received an oryx chassis today for my 4.4" spacing sa savage. I believe it works on both top and bottom bolt release. Mine is a top release (stevens brand), but I also have bottom bolt release savage 4.4" in a choate stock that uses factory savage bottom metal. There may not be as many...

Favorite Large Rifle Primers and why?

I'm a WRL user also. Mainly because they seem to perform well in my workups and they are super easy to find. Federal M210M's can be a pain to find when I need them and they are always around when I don't need them. Once I have a recipe I don't like to mess with it.

Rifle Scopes Anyone hunt coyotes with FFP?

I have changed all my scopes except one to FFP. For coyote hunting I would not want a SFP. There are times I can see SFP being a better application, but I don't have any uses for it.

Nebraska lawmaker calls our flag a rag.........................

He would also like NE to be a prairie dog conservation area. https://journalstar.com/legislature/repeal-of-nebraska-s-prairie-dog-management-law-fails-we/article_913a315b-f08a-50d8-a1fa-4f95b1a21c92.html He's not worth the effort. Just say his name in NE and watch the look on people's...

    Best 700 2 stage trigger

Mainly because when you depress the first stage and let go it doesn't reset. I'm not a fan of the mechanics of the trigger.

    Best 700 2 stage trigger

Ve Very true, In a perfect world, I'd have access to them all and get to compare them all. I like using other peoples experience to help me narrow them down. It's all a crap shoot in the end.

    Best 700 2 stage trigger

After doing some searching for posts covering this, I came up short. I'm building a tl3 and would like the best 2 stage trigger I can find. This rifles would be used in mostly competition style shooting but may crossover into hunting. I like a 2lb weight. The Huber is not an option as I...

Rifle Scopes What's the best way to move a scope to multiple rifles without re-zeroing?

I loved my savage for the ability to switch barrels, now that criterion has tikka pre-fit barrels, I wished that I invested into Tikka's. For now, my 3 savages work pretty good. Probably won't go savage again. I like the Big horn TL3 for many of the reasons of savage. Next build will be a...

Thank you everyone for your experience and ideas. This really helped me confirm what I was suspecting and choose a direction.
