Robert Gradous .260 Remington beginning load development

I have decided to use the OCW method. Wanted to get a sanity check before I went to the range. Robert Gradous .260 Remington beginning load development

Thread moved from general reloading section: I recently took delivery of a .260 Remington made by Robert Gradous. It was a joyous day. 24" Rock, 8.5-1, #5 contour, Surgeon Action. This is my second Gradous rifle, the first was a .308 that spoiled me as it was happy shooting 168FGMM - one hole...

Robert Gradous .260 Remington beginning load development

It took me 8 months to get all the parts together. The Rock barrels took the longest. All together it was about 18 months from start to finish. Be patient, it's worth the wait.

30 rd mags for M1 carbine

OK, don't laugh. I was digging deep in the back of my safe and pulled out my old M1 carbine from my teenage years. Thought I might want to stock up on hi-cap mags for everything I have in inventory. A little research led me to R-Guns. They have them in stock for $12 each. Although min shipping...

I have my stripped lower - now what?

OK, I will confess I bought in to the fear mongering and grabbed a stripped lower - assuming that lowers may be banned for new purchases going forward. What little experience I have is with bolt rifles - not black rifles. Am I safe now that I have my stripped lower? Can I just build at a...

can't find ar15 lower for life if me.

Re: can't find ar15 lower for life if me. GunBroker: Be prepared to pay $475-$550 for a brand name lower. I have seen some "second tier" lowers go for around $300 over the last 36 hours. All this could change with the next news story.

    Shooting on a budget

Re: Shooting on a budget OK, this option may not sit well with some but I'll go ahead and throw it out there. How about a Remington 700 SPS tactical .308. Bud's Gun shop has them in stock for $594. This was my first long range rifle. Some people might say I got lucky, but mine shot gold...
