Rifle Scopes Steiner 5-25x56 Glass Clarity vs Schmidt & Bender

I've done side by sides with my Steiners and several other upper tier name scopes, including S&B, NF (NXS and ATACR), Vortex, and USO. Several of the guys I shoot with are optics whores and buy/try everything My ranking by glass: 1. S&B - They have a slight edge in true optical clarity...

Rifle Scopes It's about time Burris gets in the game! UPDATED 1-8-14

This comment alone proves you have no idea what you are talking about... Do some research on MSRP vs Street Price of just about ANY market... You'll find you are very mistaken.

    Savage custom barrel question

As long as you set your headspace the same every time, there should be basically no change in POI or load behavior.

    Rifle Scopes Valdada IOR?

Do a search on here. There are some good reviews. Mostly not though. Some people have had great luck with them, and believe them to be "The best damn scope on the market. Period. Bar none." Most of us don't trust them on their 4th or 5th generation.

Rifle Scopes The truth about Leupold thread

I am not a big fan of Leupold. I have owned several of their scopes, but the most notable was a 3-18x VX that I had about 7 years ago. It got sent to the factory for the elevation knob no longer actually moving the internals. After it was replaced, I sold it (to a good friend who knew exactly...

    Rifle Scopes IOR 3-18x42 ?

Dude, give it a rest... We get it, you like your IOR. I, for one, am glad that you do. I really hope you don't have any issues, like many that have gone before you. I agree, IOR has really good glass, but they don't have the reliability track record that many of us demand for the money they...

Rifle Scopes It's about time Burris gets in the game! UPDATED 1-8-14

Feature set puts it more in line with the Razor, not the PST. He is saying different than the Burris hunting line. I wouldn't be too surprised to see these with glass like the Steiner. But who knows.

Rifle Scopes It's about time Burris gets in the game! UPDATED 1-8-14

Dang, at those prices they are going to be competing with the Vortex PST line, not Razor. But specs would put them more on the level of the Razor IMO. This is going to be good for us (the consumer). When companies compete in the same market segment, we (the consumer) get better products...

Rifle Scopes It's about time Burris gets in the game! UPDATED 1-8-14

They come in under the Vortex and offer some nicer features than the SWFA and Bushnell. I think their list price gives hope of a more fully featured scope in the street price range of $1500 or so.

Rifle Scopes It's about time Burris gets in the game! UPDATED 1-8-14

I was just about to post the same thing. Looks very promising. I think I will likely grab a 5-25 when they are available to compare to my Steiner.

Gunsmithing McMillan rifle stocks - company sold??

Sounds like they need a barrel company and then Strategic Armory Corp will own all the companies to produce pretty darn nice, complete rifles. Good action Good Stock Good Suppressors Just need a barrel.

Getting stonger but can't seem to lose any fat.

Go watch Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead. No sugar is fine, but the no carb is a yo-yo diet. The trick is to not get simple carbs, get complex ones. Eat balanced meals. Cutting certain things out will work for a time, but then it won't anymore.

Alright, I have searched for a consensus on some of this, and have found nothing. 1. Brass Would you choose Captech/Jamison brass or Lapua? I have heard that both are great, and the price is nearly the same (the nod goes to Captech/Jamison to the tune of about $30), just curious if anyone has...

    Help with JP Recoil Eliminator

Re: Help with JP Recoil Eliminator I had their recoil eliminator on a Savage 10FP for a while. The brake is very effective, however, I am not a big fan of the shape of it. I have since removed it for an SJC Titan, and I am now thinking about grabbing a APA Little Bastard to put on it. The...
