I know this has been covered but have a question. Have a SN3 3.2 - 17 34mm tube. After I set the erek I ran it up while the bore sighter was still on. First I have 64 moa up zero and was curious if that is right. Second the knob has 8 moa more travel up than the erector does. I've watched...
Re: 7WSM Short action or long action? Don't mean to hijack but I think its relevant. What is the freebore length of the reamer you use for a long action where you have the room?
Re: My best long range 15 shot group Nice looking rig. I'm a customer of Bob Green also. Nice to see his work posted here. He is finishing a 6.5X47 up for me now. Nice shooting!
Re: Maryland...... Mayberry game has 600 but you have to be a member. They are a little west of Westminster. They were having a couple precision rifle matches a year also but I haven't seen anything for this year or ever made it to one.
Re: 6.5x47 Lapua v .243 Win What does the 243 look like with the 115 set up for the AICS mags? I'm thinking of building one but was concerned about the bullet being so far in the case.
Re: Vibrating case cleaners? Which one works for you?? Just be careful which media you use. The ones with polish can coat the inside of the neck and change the grip on the bullet. I have a Lyman and it seems to work ok. I prefer never dull and a small towel.

Re: Is it me or what? At 300 wind can be hard to see. Are you using any flags? Remember, due to the spin of the bullet a left to right wind can push the bullet right and down a bit. A right to left will go left and up a bit. Also if you have any 1/4 values or no value winds they can be...

Re: Acetone/case lube? Acetone will work fine. Not sure what lube your using. I use imperial and just wipe it off with a dry paper towel. I clean the case necks (outside) with never dull before sizing.
Re: Pressure changes with primer switch? Due to the primer "shortage" I am trying rem 7 1/2's in a 6BR. I can tell you my load is a full grain lower with these primers versus CCI 450's.
Re: Krieger barrels I wouldn't call Shilen or Brux cheap. There is nothing wrong with any of the well known makers. I use Broughtons but have Shilens and they all shoot. The chamber and overall fitting by the smith is IMO far more important than the barrel manufactuer.
Re: Bullets were fine, now keyholing after 150 rounds? I shoot them in the same gun and Chad is on the money. The whole brushing thing is an ongoing debate that will never be settled. I shoot a bunch of benchrest and I clean including brushing every 15 to 20 rounds which is after every...
