    Do boresighters usually cause crown damage? I'm talking about this model here: http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/barska-deluxe-iron-boresighter-kit.aspx?a=431352 This one has what look to be STEEL arbors (meaning they look like they'd scratch up the crown and rifling!).

    Re: Thumb hole vs regular stocks Thumbholes can become an issue when you have to make a quick shot/difficult shot/awkward shot using your non-dominant side (lefty for me). You never know which direction the deer will come out.
