It does seem a little slow... I have a 7.5tw 20" Proof barrel and @ 57.5gr of H1000 I see 2800 fps. N568 didn't give decent speeds...

The 300NMI will get you there with 90 or so grains of N570, and it is a fairly common caliber for long range hunting @ 3.690 oal.

Thunderbeast seems to always get the nod here, but I've taken far more animals with my Silencerco Omega and the titanium CGS Helios. Find the deal, and make your decision. You'll then have 5 months or so to lament about it.

MOA or MRAD turrets?

It is an underrated PRS round. Personally, I've had more success with the Hammer solids. Which were stupid easy to tune. 300 yards with moderate velocity on a 305 FN bullet has the trajectory of a coke can. The extra speed from the lighter Hammers help. Ymmv.
