    For a 223 DPMS 24" barrel 1:8 varminter, 300-600 yard range? Got now on it a Leupold 6.5x20 50mm now but hate the plain crosshair reticule and the little knobs and have another rifle better suited for that scope...

    I am kinda new to this, have a cheap rig and every once in a while I get to shoot at a ~1200 yard range and need a basic starting point here, we shoot at F class type paper targets both at 300 and 600 yards, metal plates at 600, 800 yards and then there are metal silhouettes at longer distances...
