I cannot thank the members on this forum enough. I wanted to update this thread.........to say "Thank You" and show folks that my kids have joined their brothers and sisters serving in the US military. They both have done very well and are happy with their decision to serve.

My two Devil Dogs crossed paths on the same base a while back. Sure was nice to get a picture of the two........since they seem to get stationed all over the place.

Dave: Thanks for the review!! Really nice to read a direct comparison of some of the popular top tier scopes. I think it really shows how competition in the market has forced the various companies to step up their game........as evidenced by how close they all performed.

Guess I would check with one of the sponsors first.....CS Tactical, Doug at CemeraLandNY, Mile High. If you have a membership, Gulp, to Expericity.....they have an amazing price on these scopes....just received two this past week. Worth every penny IMHO.

I think the plastic shim idea would be great. Just wondering if there are plastic washers of various thicknesses? And of a material that won't compress or crack when someone dials down to the stop too harshly. Sorry about my previous post.....Just bugged with the shim deal recently and not...

Yes......Sorry........I've moved into the G2 4.5-27X and I will soon.......be receiving a couple of Gen 1 Razor 5-20X's..........so my PST 6-24X will become a back bencher! There are alternatives to the shim PST scopes!

Thanks, appreciate the insight.......We had mentioned the AF since my wife is an AF vet. But my daughter says she likes the rigorous physical training the Marines go through. Right or wrong......I can't argue against it..............just support her along her journey.
