What about overtightening a brake? I've had that affect accuracy, and there are gunsmiths out there who swear by Loctite and a hand-tightened 'muzzle device' whether it's a compensator or a brake.

Re: RCBS Gold Medal Seat Die 300WM w/ 208 Amax - FAIL Hornady makes an A-Max seating stem specifically to address your problem. Buy the Hornady seating die and A-Max stem, load 5 cartridges with each stem and measure bullet runout. You'll see what I mean.

Guys, What powder are you getting your best accuracy and temp stability out of in your .300 win mags shooting 190-210s? Chad is rebarreling one for me right now with a 26" Brux and .300 Win Mag Match chamber. I was thinking H1000, but don't want a compressed load. Ideas would be appreciated!
