Re: 375 H@H cases stretching I have a 375h&h that does the same thing. Careful resizing can eliminate a lot of the stretch. The chambers seem to be generous for reliable feeding with a big/dangerous game cartridge like this. How did you resize the brass for the reloads?

Re: neck down 308 brass to 260 ? Everyone was using 7mm-08 or 243 brass to form before Lapua started making 260 brass. I think the problem was that you end up with too much material in the neck of the case with 308 brass.

Re: Anyone try 175 SMK over 46gr Varget? I've gone as high as 45.5 in lapua brass, no major drama on the brass. Primers were getting pretty flat though, although I've seen worse out of factory ammo. Groups were opening up so I stopped there.

Re: reloading savings ? It depends on the cartridge, but what I load ranges from 30% savings to about 80%. I don't know about the 300WSM, but I'd definitely expect to save more that half. I'd really expect it to be more like 70% vs. good quality factory ammo.

Re: Butler Creeks for New Nightforce Scope? I use the butler creeks. The way I put the ocular cover on, it's in the way at lowest magnification, the bolt handle catches it. Doesn't really bother me much, I rarely turn it down that far.
