Re: New Savage 338 Lapua My american rifleman mag just did a review on it. 300 yards with diffrent factory ammo was arouns 2.75-4.00" 5 shot groups, I think? They said that when shooting 1000 yards team savage was shooting .5 MOA while author was still holding or just under 1 MOA

Building a 338 edge off a rem 700 8mm mag action. Was planning on using a B&C stock. Will I have problems if I load to 3.785" OAL? Or will I have to make it a single shot?
