I was able to back order them from creedmoor back in january. With $2 shipping to boot. That was for 4 boxes of 100. The shipping charge for a single 500 box was a regular rate. I'm assuming it was just a system error.

It's both, depending on how tight I crank it down. If I back it out, it runs fine. BUT, if I loosen the back screw and really crank down the front, it also works fine. I'll see if I can get a finger in to confirm that's not it. I'll take it apart and see what they are. They're captive...

A downsides of being one of the best in the business I suppose. The red box on that linked page says 4-6 months. It may be worth updating that to help get the word out.
