    for just an out of the box gun I like the sigs, and sti's. check out dawson precesion. also the sig upper and lower sets are made by caspian arms and they make great parts for the 1911.

    Re: muzzel break mostly bench and prone shooting at a local 1k range. looking for side and or side and top port no bottom port. I may hunt with it down east where shots typicaly start at 500 and go out from there. no natches though, for that i run either my 300 or 308
