Night Vision Can Grandad still hang with Junior? CNVD-T versus CRATOS.

Great review as always boss. Love my CNVD-T because its been mounted sighted and on a rifle that is just about as old as it is. For some it can still be the big swinging dick being that it is built like a brick shit house. My favorites are still the UTC-xii and the BAE UTM and on my other...

Rifle Scopes Alpha Scope Review: Zero Compromise, Tangent Theta, Schmidt

Damn.....As I ws just beginning to think the Schmidt...would be the last scope I would put on my long range Black stick.... OK...folks...who do I have to contact to get a good price on a ZCO? please PM me with info... I am too old to peruse over google to find a dealer whom I've had no...

    Night Vision L3 V-SLIM

Brighter isn't necessary better in my experience. However, if it serves a purpose than so be it. Just not at 8k lol. I would rather outfit my whole entire family with lesser lasers that have been proven. Don't feel the need to call in an airstrike. If that is the case... a GCP IR would do.

    Night Vision PVS14 and breach

Breach is crap.... consider a COTI?

    Night Vision L3 V-SLIM

What does it do that a MAWL, Peq15 or LA5 can't do for 1/3 of the price?

    Night Vision SHTF rifle

Trained on my M4....that's the clone I have at home for SHTF.... I know there are alot of rifle upgrades out there like MLOK, G triggers etc. etc.... but the time to retool and train...for me is a pain..... Only thing I've switched out is that I use an Eotech now instead of my tried and...

    Night Vision MTM magnifier?

The MTM magnifiers...sometimes are harder to find then the units themselves. Usually only included in complete kit...and were rarely sold in individual units...

    Night Vision LWTS-LR

So the LR.....is a unit with a new larger longer ranged germanium lens?

    Night Vision BAE OASYS UTM-X

Circa 2010----- in very low numbers. No major contracts....most were already filled with UTM units....and SkeetIR's. They were also using the old armory PAS13's for longer range and Insight LWTS. No current battery pack extensions that I know of....however...battery time is pretty decent ...

Night Vision CNVD-T vs MKII 35mm

Stand alone or as a all around clip on etc? Durability and coolness factor..... CNVD-T without a doubt.

    Night Vision L-3 cnvd-lr

I'm at a loss.....these are clip ons...... Why would they cause shifting when they just enhance the light and it is still your main scope's job to stay at zero. I'm just a user....and I have never experienced the shifts you are talking about. My distances average about 300 out to 800...

Night Vision PVS-30 on it's way, a few questions regarding illumination items (MAWL or maybe something else???)

MAWLS are great but expensive....... PEQ15's full power and better yet LA5 is way to go period. Will not go into explanations...but YES....

Night Vision NV and thermal kills...

I suspect..... weird weather patterns and just more food for foraging..... Have fun hunting folks.... I wish I were there.....

Night Vision Best Thermal Scope for the money.

If you go commercial. REAP IR (Trijicon) is hard to beat. However, if you can get your hands on a used UTM or UTM-X that would be the ticket for me. It has internal IR/VIS lasers plus digital compass and built like a tank. Better ergonomic design (for gloved or non gloved hands) and run...

Night Vision rechargeable batteries for NVDs • problems?

As long as your rechargeable batteries don't peak at a crazy voltage thus damaging your expensive circuitry. That being said....I use rechargeable CR 123's but only as a last line.... Spent too much to take a chance. I think though...depends on the optic as well. Most of these Milspec NV...

    Night Vision Knight's Armament AN/PVS-30 GRADE A 26807A (US Army Buy-Back)

Don't understand the broo ha ha...over the refurbed PVS30. It uses a more expensive battery that will give more usage time but all things being equal down to the intensifier...they still use the same parts. Will still come down to luck of the draw, how good your intensifier is. Good thing is...
