Re: Rem 700 AAC-SD scope mounts and rings help a newb oham I have the same rifle and scope. Rifle is at the smith now but I am using a seekins 20moa base and seekins low rings. I hope this works. Will find out when my rifle gets home. Will post up when I get it back.

Re: To Chop my 17's Barrel or Not??? Cut it. I went from 22" to 18" on my Marlin 917. It shoots better than when it was 22". I did have it recrowned and it is sweet to shoot with a can. All the info that I read said 18" was the optimum length. 16" will be compact though.

Re: No Suppressors During LA Hunting Season? They want to make sure we play nice with the cans for the first year. That's why I hunt in MS. You can shoot anything legal, any time of the year with a suppressor.
