I can tell you that properly bedded rifles with pillars are not temperamental to torque differences. Once the bolt bottoms out there is no more rotation available unless you try to break something.
Opening up the neck is as easy as running a mandrel through the neck. I prefer to step up the size slowly using a couple different mandrels and putting lubricant inside the necks. I have never done this with Nosler brass so I can't comment on thickness or hardness. I've never had an issue using...

All I can add is that if I discovered that defect on my crown it would be cleaned up in a hurry. But I use my rifle to compete and can't sleep at night with controllable variables out of line.
When using a bipod there is a happy medium between freecoil and a death grip. It's all about what the gun experiences during recoil. The more consistent the rifle recoils the more consistent the grouping will be.
