For fun I thought I would post some pics of a Springfield getting the 25 lines per inch treatment. It's a pain in the ass to checker by hand, but the final results are beautiful if you take your time. You CNC guys might get a chuckle at some of us folks still checkering by hand!

Anyone used a Emco Compact 10 lathe for barrel work. It looks like a nice little unit, just not sure if it is heavy or rigid enough for barrel work through the headstock. thanks
