    Re: AR 1-4 scope suggestion? An older model scope without a lot of bells and whistles, but one that I've had good luck with since its introduction, is the Millett DMS-1. Are there better? Yep, but the one that I have has been a good one.

    Has anybody got a good source of parts for an FR-7 carbine? I've googled 'til I'm blue in the face and can find very little info on these. I bought one in very good condition, except that some hillbilly hacksawed off the top 1/3 of the front sight hood. So far no luck in finding a replacement...

    Re: Just got a MKII TR, Crown has no chamfer. There are a couple of recent threads over at RFC about crowning. The short version is, it doesn't matter if the crown is chamfered or not as long as it's clean and even.
