    I have a single shot 40X in .220 Swift. It has a 1-14 twist and has no trouble sending ground hogs to the happy pasture field at 550 yd with 55gr Ballistic Tips.

    Aics chassis rem 700

    I had to drill a hole on my chassis to use the AI pistolgrip panels. It is very simple to drill the aluminum tubing and takes only a couple of minutes to do. I used a small prick punch through the bolt holes for the drill locations

    Re: New AICS pistol grip skins vs Viperskins ya, to mount them on the 1.5 you need to drill a hole through the rear section of the aluminum chassis. It took me about 5 minutes from start to finish to remove the old skins lay out the hole location, drill the hole and install the new skins.
