    I am reloading for my 6.5 x 47 lapua. Working up loads for 100 grain bergers - also 108 lapua scenars. COAL is suggested at 2.80 inches - at that depth, my 140s are jammed into the lands and I am getting good groups. problem is that the 100s and 108s are much shorter and at 2.80 they aren't...

    UltraSonic Brass Cleaning

    Re: UltraSonic Brass Cleaning I use Iosso brass case cleaner for 15 min then rinse, another 15 min with plain water, then let dry. Tumble for 2 hours. Clean and bright. I reuse the Iosso cleaner, the "gunk" sinks to the bottom. My 2 cents Paul.

    I was looking at purchasing the Hoover metplat trimmer and bullet tipping die. I am not a competitive shooter but always looking to do better. I am shooting 22-250, 6.5 x 47 lapua and .338 lapua magnum. Should I "buy and cry" or is it not worth the trouble? thanks! Paul

    Re: 6.5 x 47 - 4500 fps possible? was using 100 bergers and lapuas, 108 lapuas and 123 lapuas. results were pretty consistent above 4,000 fps with the 100s. My chrony was about 10 feet in front of the gun and I have a muzzle brake.

    Went to the range today. with lighter loads I was getting around 3,000 fps with hot loads as much as 4500 fps. Can I believe the Chrony or is it lying to me? Time to buy a new chrono? Thanks, Paul
