Gents, anyone out there know what this marking indicates on this older S&B 4-16x42 scope? Could it be an inventory control marking like on the USMC M8541 scopes? R/Mark

The Schmidt and Bender with Horus reticle version is rare but I see from vendors they're being ordered. If anyone has a 4-16x42 example already I'm very interested to see it. I notice they also come in the 5-25 as well. Thanks for your effort Mark
