I carry a Shaerk Little Mook. It's about perfect for my needs. I like that it fits in my pocket and is easier to draw and use than a regular pocket knife and it's oh so sharp!
I just seen this rifle in a Palmetto State Armory store today. I believe the price was 1599.00. The one I looked at was the .308. It's a smooth operating and good looking gun. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
You might want to try Shilen, Criterion, Hart, Krieger. There are quiete a few barrel makers out there. The trick is finding one in stock. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
Just a quick question for all of the guru's on here. Why is the .30-06 not used for long range shooting. I know Carlos Hathcock used it in his service as a sniper and I was just wondering why it sort of fell by the way side? Thanks for any insight you can give. Travis
I have one and I love it. It loves the hornady 55 grn bullets. I shot it last weekend out to 500 yards and I had three shots within four inches. I wasn't complaining since it was my first time shooting that far. Very nice rifles and I like the ar mags, it makes for easy unloading after hunting.
I have the MVP and mine was shooting good but not what I thought it could do. Then I found a deal on a Jard 36oz trigger and now it shoots great. It will easily shoot sub moa if I do my part. The only thing I dont like is the way the rounds jump out of the mag. And I haven't noticed a big...
Thanks guys for your input. I really like this gun and it seems to shoot pretty good so far. If I do my part it will usually put three shots in 3/4" at 100 yds. Been thinking about just putting a better trigger on it and shooting it. I'm going to leave the barrel at the 24" that it's at. As it...
I have a swedish m96 mauser in 6.5x55. It has a 24" barrel and I was thinking of cutting it down to about 17 ". Would there be any performance lost if I do this? Would I still be able to shoot out to 500 yds? Thanks guys for any input you can give me. Travis
Thanks guys for the info. I tried some new ammo and it shot great. Check out the added pics and tell me what ya'll think. http://www.flickr.com/photos/101765884@N03/9791835603/http://www.flickr.com/photos/101765884@N03/9791761405/
Thanks fellows for the advice. I understand the fact that I won't be getting a hole in one everytime. But hey' I'm having fun shooting and I just want to be sure that it's going where I want it. I would like to try to kill me a doe this year with a head shot as I have never done it before. I'm...
Thanks for the reply ThunderBeard. Mine doesn't seem to like shooting the 55gr in the AR cheap stuff and in the prvi but seems to shoot the 62gr in the PMC stuff ok. Hoping that I can try some 77gr hornady match next week to see how they shoot. Hoping tho get it to shoot sub moa.
Is the Hornady match ammo a good one to use to see the real potential of a rifle? I am new to the precision shooting and trying to figure out what's the best to use since I don't reload yet. I at least want to shoot m.o.a. as I have access to a five hundred yard range. But I'm thinking if I...
.223 groups 62 grn bullets | Flickr ? Condivisione di foto! .223 groups 62 grn bullets | Flickr ? Condivisione di foto! Here is two groups that I have shot out of my Mossberg MVP Predator .223. I just can't get all five shots in one hole. I was shooting the pmc x-tac green tip 62 grn bullets in...
