I'm not sure the weight, but it's WAY heavier than 11lbs. My carbon barreled, titanium action rifle on a similar chassis with similar scope is almost 12lbs. I'd guestimate 15.5-16lbs for the seekins with scope and bipod. But it's the best rifle for the money I spent in a looong time.
Yeah. Seems these rifles are shooters. I haven't shot mine since I tested it with factory ammo and it was sub-1/2 within 10 rounds. Gonna try to put more rounds down soon.
I think this is the V2 with some upgraded parts from Adam. Comes with everything you see including spare belts. $265 shipped. PayPal g&s preferred PM if you want it or have questions.
9.5/10 condition(see pics for two blemishes). Glass has no scratches. INCLUDES Swarovski bipod mount and everything else pictured. ***SPF*** bank cashiers check or postal money order. PM me for questions.
As I'm sure you've seen here, mine is sub 1/2moa in less than perfect conditions. Seekins "beyond MOA guarantee" is unheard of. If you're not happy, they'll make you happy.
I had my to wrench set to 35in/lb when loosening my action screws and they loosened without clicking the wrench. I recommend double checking the action screws.
No wind this morning, but the shooter was high on caffeine and mirage was terrible again. Just 3 shot groups to test the rifle, not the shooter. Considering the factors, a factory rifle, with factory ammo, it's a shooter.
The bind I experienced practically disappeared if I keep downward pressure on the bolt while sliding the bolt forward. You're kinda supposed to do that anyway, but it's just weird how it binds if you don't. I put some tettra grease on the guide channel, bolt lug cams, and front of the bolt body...
I was able to make the seekins rings work in the prone position. Just a little higher is all I need I think. I went with the NF 1.125 to try first because the seller offered free returns. If they're too low still I'll return them and go taller
