Re: Burris Signature Zee Rings question You can't use the +0.010 and -0.010 in different rings. Those must be paired together to get a 0.010 offset. If you try to install each with a 0 insert half, one ring will end up tight and the other loose.

Re: Burris 30mm offset insert thickness measurements? It's in thousandths of an inch as demonstrated above which would translate to 10MOA with a 6.5" spacing ring to ring. More spacing means less MOA and less is more.

Re: Light weight hunting scope? In a hunting situation you will likely not have time to dial come-up. Also most hunting scopes don't have exposed turrets. Forgoing "tactical" features lets you get more for your money in the way of glass (both quality and/or magnification or zoom range).

Re: What is the largest diameter barrel for savage 10? If you eliminate the nut and shoulder and headspace is standard with other actions, you can go as big as you want. Savage uses a nut from the factory but you're not forever wedded to using one.
