    Love it. I’ve been jones’ing for @sgtsmmiii shorty posted a few years back. Love the concept in his photos here. Have even thought about chopping a couple of Ruger Americans (in 300blk/223) to test the shorty bolt waters more.

    Preferred should be able to get you fixed up for that 450 BM. They will go down to 8”. Just had a 22 creed spun up for my son’s first rifle. It shot ¾ MOA within the first 5 rounds with factory hornady ammo.

    It’s easy enough. I went with a Tromix barrel shortly before they stopped production. Believe it’s a 1/10 twist. Shoots sub minute with sub sonic loads. I can’t ask it for more throwing that much lead down range.

    How are these doing for you? I have a 16.5” 22 creed ordered from PBB. Curious about velocities and muzzle blast (and powder burn rate). I’ll only run this one suppressed since it’s going to be a go-to rifle around the farm.

    I’ll throw my 16” .458 bolt into the thread. This is using a Tromix 1:10 twist exclusively for 500 grain maker bullets. She will absolutely smoke a deer! Left a blood trail last month that Helen Keller could follow.
