I'm hearing 8+ months, might be getting quicker due to the crazy rush slowing down. Mind you I am in Martinsburg WV, the actual location of the ATF office that does these things so there is almost no delivery time issues for me lol.
But on a serious note I have a few different types of 300 rounds to try out, i'm going to see how they shoot and look for any keyholes before I even consider a can.
Yea I know the round is designed for subsonic, the main concern is if the 1:7 twist can stabilize a 220 gr bullet in 8.5" or not. Pretty much wondering who has done a suppressed 300 SBR on here lol.
Ok so my new 300 AAC build has a CMMG 8.5" 1:7 twist barrel. I would like to run a can on it with the 220gr loads but dont want a baffle strike. Do you think its safe? Im sure supersonics will be fine just a little worried about the heavy bullets. Also should I run just a .30 cal can or maybe...
Yea I put a medium latch on it now. If you look at the picture a few posts up there is an obvious difference in the med vs large handle. Dunno if they were all made that way or just the newest batch. Either way i'm happy with the med latch from BCM. And Masked I saw that Rainier CH, but i've...
Re: Issue with BCM charging handle on Armalite AR-10
So, went to the local gun store and picked a medium latch and it fits perfectly. The designs aren't similar at all! So FYI, might wanna steer away from the large latch if you have an Armalite.
Re: Issue with BCM charging handle on Armalite AR-10
I just dont see where the diff is. The website says it fits Armalite and I cant find any other cases of this online.
Re: Issue with BCM charging handle on Armalite AR-10
Thats what ive been considering. But of course there would be no warranty and im not sure how that would affect the handles strength.
So went to put on my BCM Large Latch charging handle on my Armalite AR-10A4 and it doesn't fit. The bottom the handle hits the top of the lower receiver. Is there any easy fixes or handles (ie PRI) that would work? Pic of it below.
Re: After 6 months the AR-10 finally has some glass
Well I sighted it in this weekend. First at the range then went out to the farm to practice with using the TMR reticle for ranging. Boy is there a difference between surplus .308 and Match lol. So here are a few pics, nothing crazy.
Less...
Re: After 6 months the AR-10 finally has some glass
Yea I couldn't turn down the illuminated reticle. I've already messed around with it at dusk and I love being able to see it nice and bright.
