Re: New scope made it today I am a tech for an area Chevrolet dealer. I know firsthand GM says no to warranty when the root cause of failure is a .338 hole through the bell housing, torque converter, and engine oil pan. Guys said his hand slipped when he hit a bump. All I could do was laugh...

Re: Bedding compounds Just finished up my scope base project I was going to take pictures throughout but was so focused that I forgot. I used Devcon, turned out good I think. A little GM Cyber Gray touch up paint for the little nicks better than new. So I got a few after as follows.
I would like to get a feel for what people like using as their go to bedding compound. If anyone can include why, pros, cons, exceptions I think it would be helpful.

I was wondering if anyone has seen heard of any one bedding a Tupperware stock on a SPS Varmint? I know that the front end is quite flimsy and cant be free floated. What if the barrel channel was filled also. I've never seen it so I'm guessing it has been tried and failed.
