    Reloading Equipment Downsizing

Protects sensitive electronic gear from power surges and keeps voltage constant while filtering electrical noise from other devices. Originally intended for use with for high end audio gear, it’s used in line by some of us with better scales and balances like the A&D Fx-120i shown above.

What did you do in the reloading room today?

I was having similar problems last winter. This set up started out as a V2 AutoTrickler, as evidenced by the Stop/Start labels that I put on the scale cover back in 2019. This was before the V3 Bluetooth upgrade that came later. Anyhow, to make a long story even longer, last fall my scale...

    Ebay scam

A couple years ago I bought a set of spiked feet for a long out of production tripod for less than $50. The eBay seller sends me a FedEx tracking number that I check: shipment originated in Butte Montana and when I click on the shipment details, the package weighs 126 pounds. Destination is...

3D printed powder cup weight gain while curing?

That’s kinda’ what I’ve been doing all along with my aluminum 419 cup with the weight written on it. It’s an easy way to see that the scale is still zeroed during a session. This all went out the window when I started trying printed polymer cups because of the powder bounce I was...

What did you do in the reloading room today?

That’s an Area 419 platen that I cut the wings off of and then chucked up and turned down on my buddy’s lathe. Made it easier to clean up bounced kernels.

What did you do in the reloading room today?

Took an inch off of my Fx-120i’s draft shield to get it closer to my new Ingenuity Precision powder cup. Powder bounce solved.

    Virginia McDonald's bans amish teens

Welcome to Northern Virginia and Fairfax County. That McDonalds and the HS across the street is about a 15 minute drive from where I live. Fifty plus years ago that McDonalds was a fucking zoo during the school year. It still is. Nothing has changed. Although I didn’t go to Edison High School...

3D printed powder cup weight gain while curing?

So while I’m waiting for my Ingenuity Precision powder cup to get here from Oklahoma, I decided I’d try a couple of different powder cups to reduce powder bounce from my from my new IP trickler mount. I’ve always had some powder bounce with the aluminum 419 cup and the IP trickler, even with...

What did you do in the reloading room today?

Experimenting with a new powder cup to reduce bounce for my upgraded IP trickler mount while I wait for the special IP cup. Note battery powered vacuum… With the aluminum 419 cup, it’s the same as just dumping powder directly on the platen; likewise with the MK Machine cup.

    Berger 153.5’s

I had a 26” Bartlien 8 twist medium palma barrel that was chambered by a 2112 @ PWS. I have no idea what reamer he used. I found a node @2710 with 153.5 and with H4350 and Lapua cases that shot like a house on fire out to 1K on Quantico’s Range 4. I hit the milk jug (challenge @ 1K) with five...
