    The dryer sheets are really for absorbing the comtaminates when using corn cob or walnut enabling it to last a bit longer.

    I would have never thought to use that. Cheap and readily available. I wonder if anyone has ever tried the Plastic Media that they use in stripping cars and planes? I think it might last even longer than walnut.

    Re: Mossberg M44 A while back you could buy a Pentax 4.5X-14X from BestBuy(online only) Hell of a deal as these were the old scopes still produced in the Phillipines and quite good for the money. Dont know if they are still available or not.
