    Anyone have experience hunting with the Amax at subsonic velocities? I have very accurate loads for 300 Blackout with the 208, just never shot anything with it. Think they 'might' actually be a better choice than the 220 SMK which I know will not open up at all.

    Done. I shoot big-ass 675gr cast lead boolits for the SOCOM. Lehigh also makes two lathe turned pills for this application. I have 1-8" twist Savage pre-fit barrels to stabilize the pigs. Sub-sonic death. Easy day.
