I have a Tikka T3 in .300WSM with a 19" barrel (8.7lbs with Nikon Monarch 4-16x & Harris bipod)- in stock config I'm managing 3/4 MOA groups with 175gr SMK's and a couple factory 180gr loads. I'm really interested in transforming the rifle into something different. Does anyone have any experience or opinion on the MDS LSS short action chassis system? Although the systems seems a bit short in length- I like the weight and ability to swap out AR-style stocks & grips. I don't have any plans on re-barreling yet and I like the contour of the current barrel. If I can maintain or improve on my groups I'm thinking of threading the barrel for a Surefire or AAC comp.
