    Re: .308 Barrel question I purchased the standard 20" krieger barrel and cut it down to 18". It is a tack driver. Why 28"? doesn't seem like you'll be gaining anything over a 18-20" barrel. I'm actually looking to go down to 16"....

    Re: Zeiss or Leica Rangefinder I've had a Leica 1200 that I sold to upgrade to the Leica 1600. Excellent rangefinders, do everything that I've needed them to. Had no problems ranging out to 900+ meters on the 1200 and have ranged 1300+ meters on the 1600. Well worth the $.

    Re: good tripod? I upgraded to a manfrotto, all I can say is wow. That and the quick adjust grip, amazing kit. added some quick release heads to my spotter, DSLR and just snap on, snap off.

    Re: H-59 or G2dmr...? After spending time with a Horus reticle, my next scope will have one. Once you learn it, holdovers are too easy....makes mil dots seem archaic. I'm interested in the new tremor and how that stacks up against the Horus.

    Re: LR-308 Trigger Upgrade? My DPMS lower runs a Geisselle SSA. It is awesome and durable (spent 3 days banging around 700 rnds of 7.62 out to 650+ meters in the field with no problems). Worth every penny, IMHO.

    Re: Whats your favorite AR-15 Match Trigger ? Geisselle is it, as already stated. The excellent trigger, combined with the durability/reliability is head and shoulders above the rest. I am running a SSA in an 18" 7.62 gas gun and it is amazing.

    Re: Grease on receiver extension and barrel nut? Moly grease is ok. It's used to help get the proper preload on the barrel nut. Even better is a new torque specific grease from ARP called Ultra Torque ARP UltraTorque . Even with Moly grease you can get false torque values on a torque wrench...
