Thank you wrhunter. I have a Rem 700 SA, Krieger 1 in 8.5, finished to 24" plus a Badger Thruster brake. Chamber is cut with a PT&G .180"FB reamer. I'll try your RL26 numbers and see how it works for me.
I'll be using Rem brass and Fed 215M primers.
There is a bit of factory ammo in Calgary at the big box stores. There might be a bit of Rem .300 SAUM brass, but they are now out of stock of any 7 RSAUM.
Derek01, the bottom inlet on my A5 was not correct for the Seekins Lapua DBM. Total length was a bit short. Also, the relief for the mag catch was not milled.
Does anybody know if the "Seekins Lapua DBM" and the "Seekins AICS" DBM use the same bottom inlet dimensions? I just waited 7 months for a McMillan A5 stock and it is inletted for Seekins AICS. I asked for "Seekins Lapua 3.900 DBM". I thought they would have known the difference with that...

Thanks.
I asked over in Gunsmithing and I'll ask here too.
Anyone here running a Stiller TAC338 repeater action with Seekins Lapua 3.900" DBM?
Does the combination work well? Is there a bit of milling that has to be done to the bottom inlet of the receiver?
Re: Stiller TAC338 & Seekins Lapua DBM
Those 2 fit and do the job though right? Is there any milling or "inletting" that has to be done to the Stiller TAC338?
Stiller TAC338 repeater and Seekins Lapua 3.900" DBM.
Does this combination work? In a McMillan A5. For a 338LM Improved 40 project.
Need the much appreciated info to make a final decision on a choice of bottom metal.
