Was wanting to buy one but are they any good or not, wanting to do my own rifles

Have a 338 edge, after about 12 to 15 shots the barrel is a nightmare to get clean. I am talking pitaful,copper coated lands its a krieger hv 9:35 twistorse . Its got worse and worse . WHATS THE PROBLEM???
