    Re: Mixed up my 700 s/a bolts Thanks fellas. I had my bolts cerakoted and those numbers no longer exist. My local gunsmith matched them up right with gauges though so I am set.

    LC Match Brass

    I have a bunch of LC Match brass. I'm told that since the walls are thicker that I should back off the powder some. I'm loading 168gr SMK with Varget. Is 43.5 @ 2.75 a good starting point or should I go lower. My book (Lyman) doesn't make any reference to LC Match brass.

    I have two Remington 700 SPS Tactical .308 rifles. I just sent both bolts off to have Badger knobs put on. I had them taped and marked which bolt went to which rifle. Got my bolts back. Ripped off the tape. Set the bolts down to go to the safe to retrieve my rifles and when I got back...
