I have a satern barrel on my grendel and I couldnt ask for anything more. I get less than 1/2 MOA groups at 100 yards. Ive shot ground hawgs at 500 yards with out a problem. using shooter to correct for my drop and a laser range finder it makes me feel like a pro.

Im getting 2582 with a 19 ES over a 10 shot string with a satern 20 inch barrel loaded with 8208XBR

Re: Reticle Lighting is it really needed? I have a nightforce 8-32 NXS, I can still see the reticale just fine up to the point that I would need to use a light to see my target. I tryed to use the illumination a couple of times at night and it actualy hurt. It was so bright at the factory...

Re: What chronograph? I have a farly large comp on my 6.5 grendel and only have the orignal style magneto sensor, the newer model has more room than mine.

Re: What chronograph? I had a chrony but had nothing but problems with it depending on the light, I bought a magneto speed and its one of the best investments I made, right under my giraud power trimmer.

Re: Nightforce Software Dell Axiom x5 I dont think nightforce makes software for a windows based handheld only for a palm pilot or PC. I had an dell and never used it since not to many people make software for them, my droid phone can do more than the dell ever could.

Re: Outside Neck Chamfering before I bought my garaud I had a RCBS prep center I used. it had a couple diffrent stations on there I had a chamfer, deburr and a primer pocket uniformer on there, it worked fine for me with out any burrs.
