    Gunsmithing ARC Nucleus barrel install

You might want to call and see if he has either a shouldered or prefit already spun up and chambered in the contour and caliber you're looking for. I bought a shouldered barrel form him last year that was supposed to take and month and took almost 6. It shoots and ultimately he made it right but...

Gunsmithing Remage barrel. What else can/should i do while im at it?

If you're going to get the new PTG bolt with the smaller firing pin hole wait to true up the bolt lugs. If you're doing it at home the easiest way is to remove the bolt and char the back of each lug black with a lighter or candle. Then reinsert and close the bolt and remove it again. Wherever...

    Gunsmithing Bedding rail question

Doing both sides separately probably caused even less of a chance of any distortion. As mentioned above, the point of bedding the rail is to match fit the manufacturing inconsistencies and tolerances of the rail to the manufacturing inconsistencies and tolerances of the action without inducing...

going from single stage to dillon

With this setup. Do you trim every time or add that to the toolhead when needed?

going from single stage to dillon

Padom, there was a short video of you on youtube prepping brass in a 650 with a Dillon power trimmer. I've heard that due to the cutter and speed you don't have to chamfer/debur. But most people aren't making ammo like you're talking about above. Do you still use the power Trimmer?

Annealing: Salt Bath vs Flame/Torch method

Thank for the info, this is exactly the general types of details I wanted to know before experimenting with the salt bath idea.

Load Development Targets - feedback wanted

Ok, I see it now. didn't read the fine print. This is pretty good work. Thanks, I for one appreciate the effort. Not sure how most people feel but it seems the COAL/Ogive in one box would be easiest. If people prefer one or the other there doesn't seem to be a need for an extra box down south...

Rifle Scopes Scope for a Tikka T3x CTR around $2000.00?

If it were me I would go used from here on the Hide. Most people here take care of their stuff. A lot have multiple scopes so they have almost new glass that's hardly used at all. You'll get more for your money to put back into training, ammo, and reloading. I've been a little biased and give...

Annealing: Salt Bath vs Flame/Torch method

Mordamer, this looks interesting from the consistency aspect. I see it says 5-6 seconds is long enough. How long can the tray stay in the salt bath before hear transfer becomes an issue? Is there enough time to let one sit submerged while you fill a second tray or would the 10 or 15 seconds that...

    OCW or Velocity Node?

Same here. Looking back on it, and in complete agreement with Spife7980, it seems possible to find a point where slight changes in powder charge are forgiving in the velocity department but that point also lands dead center of two OBT nodes or (if you don't buy into the OBT theory) happens to...
