Directly from Howa in Japan when I inquired some years back: Hello, ****-san. Thank you for your interests in our products. Regarding the twist rates of our .223, they vary depending on their production time as follows: upto July 2013 - 1/12 from Aug. 2013 to Apr. 2018 - 1/9 since May 2018...
Seem to be doing alright. Prices have been all over the board. The Classic action is in line price wise with other similar actions. I like Defiance and prefer them to others.
Experienced the dead screen on my Kilo 2000 as well. I did purchase a Kilo 5K afterwards but that will be my last Sig electro-optic. If their devices can't last longer than 5-6 years, I'll seek elsewhere. I don't use the device but a few times/yr. Competition is good and it looks like Sig has...

I have a Borden Alpine that Karl Feldkamp built for me in .223 Ackley. It has to be one of the smoothest bolts I own and also one of the tighter fitting bolts. I've had this rifle ~15 years and never any of the issues you're experiencing. You should probably contact Jim Borden and inquire with him.
Let's try this another way. Sig Kilo 2000 is what I have now and the display is fading. Otherwise it's been a great rangefinder. What's out today that's similar that you'd recommend? Another Sig or something else? Are the Sig displays still fading after a period of time?
I'm still using an older Sig rangefinder and the display is fading out on me. I need a new rangefinder but want something that'll last and is accurate. Wouldn't mind another Sig provided the display last longer than this one. Who are the players these days in the 4-5K yard range without breaking...
