Blowback changes completely when you can utilize proper dia. springs... AA did a great job with these.

I shot a demo a few years ago. It ran perfectly and they put several thousand rounds through it that weekend with zero issues. IMO it's built for the purpose vs other brands that are trying to retrofit something.

Savage continues to make this even more confusing. They have an 11VT now and it has the same matte finish as the 10.

CDI says they can inlet a stock for their bottom metal and they have DBM for the newer trigger guard release savages. I sent an email out to them yesterday asking if they can inlet a stock for my action stock combination, still waiting for a reply.

Re: Ammo Choice- Privi P Match, PMC, or Fed. Am. Eagle If you take a few min and sort the prvi by weight out the, it makes it way more consistent. Still not the end-all-be-all but it helps a ton. PMC is the most consistent "cheap non match" ammo I have found.
